Phil Grasham "The Jewish gospels according to Matthew" ![]() Saturday 19th September 2026 10.00am - 5.30pm (registration from 9.15am) Venue: Hillside Church (All Saints) Lobley Hill Gateshead Our 56th North East Conference warmly welcomes Phil Grasham to Gateshead. Phil is the second speaker we have had recently in Gateshead from CMJ (The Church’s Ministry among Jewish People). Furthermore this is the first conference Beit Yeshua has run jointly with CMJ. Phil Grasham is CMJ UK’s Teacher / Engager / Bible Influencer. He holds a master’s degree in Kingdom Theology, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Theology, and has over 22 years experience in teaching at undergraduate and diploma levels. He also has five years of overseas mission experience in East and West Africa . He regularly speaks in local churches and leads tours to Israel when possible. He will be speaking at all three sessions and his second talk is a sample of his popular Exploring Israel with Jesus events, combining cultural and historical details with biblical studies. From the roundabout go up the hill towards Consett. Turn left into Beechwood Gdns (by the house with black and white exterior). Continue to end of the road and the church is in front of you. From the Gateshead end of the Tyne Bridge: follow the A184 marked Consett, etc. After about 1.5 miles keep in the left lane signed A692 Consett and follow lane (paralleling the A1) to roundabout and then continue as From the A1 (above). Buses There are a number of service along Lobley Hill Road (A692). It is 600 metres walk along Beechwood Gdns to the church. Please check for up-to-date timetables.
